week 2~

on 2nd week we learn about the basic concept of web page...for example what is web page, website, portal, homepage, blog as well as cms & lms...we also learn the types or category of website...usually users tend to view the website by the function or visual appearance of the site....the function grouping can be divided into informational, entertainment, community and so on..the websites also can be categorized based on the organization that running such as entertainment, government, education, charity & personal....

usually people used to talk about website, web page, portal and so on...but do they know what is the real definition and also the different among each other???....sometimes people may use the wrong terms (or in malay "main taram je"..hehe) for example they use word website for web page because they don't know the different between website and web page....so in this class i got clearer understanding what is it all about...=)

besides that, i learn about cms & lms....frankly speaking i never know about cms & lms before this....s0-outdated-me...but its ok..better late than never rite??hehe now i know lms stands for Learning Management System and cms is Content Management System...utm use lms which is moodle for e-learning system and example of cms is the utm website....the lms cannot use for website....and cms is easier to update....

in this week class also we get an individual assignment which is the case study 1...oh before i forget, dr jamal gave us an exercise...we need to arrange a proper steps in constructing a web site in order and the discuss the answer together....
